I have worked within the Medical Device Industry for the past 36 year's, my experience during this time has crossed over IVD, MDD and AIMDD. During these 36 years, 32 of them have been working within the Regulatory Environment.
Currently I work within the geographic region of the UK and Ireland, however I also support the EMEA region and interact with both internal and external Regulatory Affairs and Government Affairs professionals in helping to shape and influence our working environment.
Understanding the role of the regulator and anticipating the demands of regulatory frameworks within our business needs to be central to our planning and all our activities to ensure we are both competitive and compliant in the promotion of our products and services. I have been working directly on Brexit (UK leaving the EU) since the day of the referendum in 2016, on behalf of the Medical Devices sector and cross sector with Pharma and Consumer.
